But that’s not me.
I am a technical writer, or so I would have you believe from this website, but I am aspiring to much more.
I have also been a writer, a developer, a journalist, as my LinkedIn profile proclaims and details, but what do I want to be, really?
Is it vain (and lame) to now throw my lot in with the creator economy, writing for Medium, gathering followers?
It is.
But it is also an opportunity for the only kind of transcendence I have ever really known, and that has to do with creativity and recognition.
I suppose it is physiological that I, like millions of others, am seaking out approval and beloging, but I think as long as my heart is in the right place (and I have been working on this for decades now) than I can make good on this experiement.
